The last weekend of February we got the chance to attend the special rebranded edition of the London Fashion Weekend, an event that closes London Fashion Week.

London Fashion Week Festival took place from 23rd until 26th of February, and hosted several designer and trend catwalk shows as well as exclusive popup shops storing the latest designer pieces of the season. London Fashion Week Festival is the only event in the world that gives you the amazing combined experience of seeing it on the runway and purchasing it straight after the show. It is amazing to browse through the participating designers of the season and gain a great understanding and unparalleled access to the fashion industry. Such an opportunity to understand the best of British and International fashion is invaluable especially since you are also given the chance of meeting the designers themselves and listen to their stories of creation. The London Fashion Week Festival gave us an opportunity to be present at several talks of industry experts, whether editors, blogger or designers. Through that it was eminent to learn about each individual’s path to success and their climb to the top of their selected field. Finally the mixture of networking, shopping and enjoyment of the catwalks gives the perfect dose for a fun weekend.
This year the designer we choose to see was Teatum Jones – a modern and polished British brand.
Catherine Teatum and Rob Jones are the designers of the Teatum Jones London based womenswear brand. Their label has become recognised for its modern, polished and bold aesthetic.
Their designs were definitely a favourite of the event for us especially because of the fun yet bold flower prints mixed with easy fabric, fit for day to night outfit choices.
